The Edenton Steamers have announced its latest additions to the 2019 roster.

Colin Adams of Long Island University – Brooklyn, Ryan Calhoun of St. Louis University and Justin Drpich of Binghamton University will be wearing Teal and Black this summer.

Adams, 5'11'' a 220--pound sophomore from Chichester, PA will receive time in the infield for Edenton.

"We had two LIU players last year so there is familiarity recruiting from them, we trust them and know their program," said head coach Russ Burroughs.

LIU's head coach, Dan Pirillo, is a former Steamers coach. Edenton always looks forward to hosting their players.

Calhoun, a 6'1 210-pound junior, will serve as the team's primary first baseman and DH.

The North Wales, PA native smashed an impressive 16 homeruns last season at Hartford Community College.

"Ryan is a tremendous threat in the middle of our line up and will he make everyone around him better. We are excited to see what he can do after he gains more experience this season playing at the D1 level. He does not have to try and do too much and he will be a great asset," Burroughs said.

Drpich, a 6'0 185-pound junior, will see time as Edenton's starting third baseman.

The South Salem, NY product is teammates with TJ Wegmann, who will also be with the Steamers this season.

"Last season he was going to be our starting third basemen, but he got hurt and wasn't able to be with us. It is great to finally have him get an opportunity with Edenton. He will be able to contribute at the hot corner for us," Burroughs said.

Edenton has solidified its corner infielders with these additions, as they inch closer to the start of the season
