The Edenton Steamers won their sixth straight game Thursday night from Historic Hicks field as they defeated the Peninsula Pilots 10-4 in six innings.
The game was called in the sixth inning due to rain.
Hamilton's first longball came in the first inning, a two-run shot to left field which gave Edenton a 3-2 lead. He has 13 RBI in his last four games.
Adams in the bottom of the second sent one to the opposite field, his first homerun at home this season.
In the third, the LIU Brooklyn product had another opportunity with a runner on and hit his second round-tripper of the night.
Hamilton hit a leadoff homerun in the fourth inning for his second consecutive game with two taters. The Ohio native leads the CPL with 21 RBI in just 14 games played this season.
Jordan Fitzpatrick went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in the leadoff spot. The Missouri native has his average up to .283 on the year.
CJ Dornak in his final start for Edenton tossed six innings, allowed three runs and struck out three pilots.
Clams have a 4-2 series lead over Peninsula this season. The two North division opponents will see each other ten more times throughout the year.
